ESD Celebrates National Health IT Week

Health information technology improves the quality of healthcare delivery, increases patient safety, decreases medical errors, and strengthens the interaction between patients and healthcare providers.
To mark the important role health information technology plays in improving healthcare delivery in America, ESD and others across the U.S. have joined together to celebrate National Health Information Technology (NHIT) Week , September 10-14, 2012.
Just the concept of NHIT Week itself speaks volumes to the collaborative efforts of providers, clinicians and the healthcare IT consultants who are working to advance the level and quality of care during this transition of the industry.
The theme of National Health IT week, One Voice, One Vision: Transforming Health and Care, rings true regarding the progress our industry has made to improve the quality of care for our nation.
