In his role as Vice President of National Sales, David Tucker is responsible for strategic client relationships and business development. As an industry veteran with more than 35 years of healthcare experience, Mr. Tucker posses a unique perspective on the long term evolution and trajectory of healthcare technology that ensures ESD delivers exactly what organizations need.
Before joining ESD, David’s prior experience provided leadership in healthcare administration for over 33 years in five large, complex provider organizations serving in financial, operational, and information technology roles. While as a CIO, Mr. Tucker was a charter member of CHIME and served on the Board of Directors from 1993 – 1996 when the CHIME Foundation was formed. He was among the first CHIME CIO members to be selected as a Fellow. David has been a member of HIMSS since 1987 and the ACHE (American College of Healthcare Executives) for most of his healthcare career.
Mr. Tucker received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Penn State, an MBA from Duquesne University and an MHA from Florida International University.
