Joseph Torti is the Founder and President of ESD. In this role, Mr. Torti is responsible for overseeing sales and finance operations of the company, as well as strategic client relationships and business development.
ESD was established in 1990 as a solo operation, with Mr. Torti as a consultant in the healthcare industry. As the business grew, Joe slowly added on additional consultants with extensive IT and healthcare experience, and over the past five years, the company has added 30 corporate employees and over 400 clinical IT consultants. The company has also grown exponentially from a financial standpoint, with annual revenues approaching $35 million in 2011.
Under Mr. Torti’s leadership, ESD is active member in a variety of healthcare organizations including College of Health Information Management Executives (CHIME), Medical Users Software Exchange (MUSE), Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), KLAS Enterprises, and is a Platinum sponsor of HIStalk.
Mr. Torti received a Bachelor of Science in both Business Administration and Accounting, as well as an MBA from The University of Toledo.
