“New York-Presbyterian initiated the relationship with ESD to help support the “big bang” go-live of SCM at one of our campuses in 2006. This was a complex go-live of SCM as a replacement for the legacy clinical system. The scope included clinical documentation as well as full physician order entry. They were very responsive during that go-live and it was a success.
Since that time, we have worked closely with ESD on other engagements. They have very experienced professionals who know the SCM product and can relate well with the clinical community. We appreciate that they are very flexible and have resources who are more “local” to where we are in New York City. In addition, there have been times that we really needed help in an emergent basis and Enterprise has been very responsive in getting the appropriate resources to help us on short notice.
We have gotten much positive feedback from our clinical users on the great help they received during those critical first week(s) of a new implementation go-live. We have recommended ESD to several of our network hospitals embarking on similar clinical implementations.”
